Instant photography, reinvented. When Polaroid ceased production of in 2008, Impossible stepped in to keep the original instant film alive. In 2016 they’ve created the I-1: the first new camera for that format in over a decade which uses digital innovation to empower the world of analog photography. Impossible CEO Oskar Smolokowski and Teenage Engineering designer Jesper Kouthoofd explain the philosophy behind bringing instant photography to the next generation, while professional photographer Oliver Blohm shares how the I-1 has influenced his practice.
